Deluxe Plan & Premium Plan

For those seeking more hands-on support, our Deluxe Plan and Premium Plan offer extensive coaching with experienced financial professionals.

No matter which plan you choose, you'll gain access to our one-of-a-kind resources at a fraction of the cost of traditional financial services that range from as low of $250/hour to $2,500 for a financial plan

According to Bankrate.com, a financial coach typically charges clients on a fee-only basis, meaning you’ll pay an hourly rate for the time they spend with you or a fee for a predetermined number of sessions. Financial coaches don’t manage your money or investments, so they don’t charge a fee based on assets under management (AUM) the way some financial advisors do. Rates for financial coaches can vary, but hourly rates of $100 to $300 are common.

According to the National Financial Educators Council, the NFEC reviewed 137 financial coaching sites that appeared in the top 50 Google search results for the keywords ‘financial coaching’ and ‘financial counseling.’ A total of 137 websites were discovered using these search terms and, of those 137, 26 indicated pricing levels and packages available on their websites (in a place the researcher could readily find). Because of the significant variance between package options, we compared the financial coach hourly salary pricing levels across the sites to get a clear barometer of financial coach fees, which averaged $257 per hour.

According to Nerdwallet.com, most financial advisors charge based on how much money they manage for you. That fee can range from 0.25% to 1% or higher per year. Some financial advisors charge a flat hourly or annual fee instead. Advisors who charge flat fees can cost between $2,000 and $7,500 a year. Financial advisors who charge hourly, typically charge $200 - $400 per hour.

Kitces.com found that the average cost for a standalone comprehensive financial plan is $2,400 based on their latest survey data, up from $2,200 in a 2012 study from the Financial Planning Association. The more time the plan took to develop, the more expensive the plan was, and the average advisor reported having spent 11.9 hours on a single financial plan, or about $200 per hour.

Disclaimer

Members, by choosing one of the membership plans above that includes financial coaching with a volunteer financial coach (“Coach”), understand and agree to the following.

Section 1: Scope of Services

Membership plans are chosen solely by the Member and the plan dictates what services are rendered.

Membership plans can be cancelled at any time at the sole discretion of Wings for Widows.

Limited Engagement (Advanced Plan):

The Advanced Plan offers limited financial coaching, providing members with up to two (2) hours of access to a financial coach each month, through phone, email, or text, to address specific financial questions or concerns. This plan provides flexibility for members who need occasional guidance rather than full-scale coaching. The coach’s primary responsibility is to answer the member’s concerns within the allotted time. The plan automatically renews monthly; the membership ends when the member cancels the membership.

Full-Service Engagement (Deluxe and Premium Plans):

The Deluxe and Premium Plans offer full-service financial coaching, providing up to six (6) hours of virtual coaching each month. These plans are designed for members seeking comprehensive, hands-on financial guidance. Coaches will work closely with members to address a wide range of financial topics, offering personalized advice and helping members navigate complex financial matters. The Deluxe Plan operates on a monthly renewal basis and is ideal for less complicated situations. The Premium Plan, priced for better value, renews every three months, making it suitable for those needing ongoing support over an extended period. In both plans, the coach and member will meet virtually using a mutually agreed-upon platform (e.g. Zoom). Both plans automatically renew; the membership ends when the member cancels the membership. The Coach may collaborate with other professional service providers (e.g., attorneys, tax representatives) as necessary with the member's approval.

Limitations of Service:

Within reason, the Coach will not implement, monitor, or update advice beyond the engagement period;  have authority or control over member's assets; have Power of Attorney; sell any products or services to the member; or make any specific referrals of other professionals to the member  without Wings for Widows approval. The member is responsible for all financial decisions and implementation of advice.

Section 2: Responsibilities

Member Responsibilities:

The member agrees to authorize Wings for Widows to share their Financial Wellness Survey results and application information with the Coach; maintain respectful behavior towards the Coach and Wings for Widows personnel; provide requested financial information for optimal outcomes; make their own financial decisions; complete the post-engagement Financial Wellness Survey to determine the member's improvement in financial wellbeing; and complete the post-engagement Member Survey to determine program effectiveness.

Coach Responsibilities:

The Coach agrees to maintain confidentiality of the member's financial information; not enter a paid relationship with the member during the engagement; provide the Summary Action Report to the member after the engagement ends; and adhere to the Privacy Policy outlined in this agreement.

Professional Standards:

The Coach will comply with all regulatory, professional, and ethical obligations, including the CFP Board's Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct.

Section 3: Liability, Dispute Resolution and Privacy Policy

Liability & Dispute Resolution:

Neither Wings for Widows nor its affiliates shall be liable for the accuracy or appropriateness of advice provided by the Coach. The member agrees to hold Wings for Widows and the Coach harmless from any loss, damage, cost, or liability arising from the coaching engagement. In case of concerns, both parties agree to attempt resolution directly. Unresolved issues must be submitted to non-binding mediation under the Commercial Mediation Rules of the American Arbitration Association. If still unresolved, the dispute may be submitted to binding arbitration under the Securities Industry Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association. This dispute resolution process is designed to be fair and protect both parties' interests.

Privacy Policy:

The Coach will not disclose non-public information shared by the member, except to comply with laws, regulations, or court/government orders; when additional professional input is required for accurate advice; to share with member-authorized persons; and to prevent fraud, ID theft, or other liability. The Coach will inform the member prior to sharing information in these circumstances.
