This website, including the domains wingsforwidows.org, wingsforwidows.us, and any related Wings for Widows-controlled domains or webpages that link to these Terms and Conditions(the “website”), is a complimentary information service offered by Wings for Widows at no charge to you as a user, with the express condition that you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth in this User Agreement. Wings for Widows reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time, and you must consult the most recent version of this User Agreement and Terms and Conditions (not an older cached version) each time you view or use the website. Do not use the website if you do not agree to all of the following terms and conditions.

This website may also incorporate content, tools, or features from Widow411 and WidowWise University, each owned by WidowWise LLC, a Florida limited liability company, and made available to Wings for Widows under license (collectively, the “Licensed WidowWise Content”). Wings for Widows may, at its discretion, make additional WidowWise LLC properties available through this website from time to time, and such properties shall also constitute Licensed WidowWise Content under this Agreement.

Certain content, features, and tools made available through this website as Licensed WidowWise Content are owned by WidowWise LLC and are made available to Wings for Widows pursuant to a license agreement. Your use of Licensed WidowWise Content is subject to these same Terms and Conditions, except where superseded by a separate end-user agreement, if any, presented at the point of use.

Registered Training Content

Certain Licensed WidowWise Content, including training videos and materials offered through WidowWise University, may require registration and the creation of a user account to access (“Registered Training Content”). By registering for Registered Training Content, you agree that:

(a) the information you provide during registration is accurate and current, and you will update it as needed;

(b) your login credentials are for your individual use only and may not be shared, transferred, or used by any other person;

(c) you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account;

(d) Registered Training Content may not be downloaded, recorded, screen-captured, redistributed, publicly performed, or used for any commercial purpose without prior written consent from WidowWise LLC;

(e) Wings for Widows and WidowWise LLC reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Registered Training Content at their discretion, including for violation of these terms; and

(f) access to Registered Training Content may be tracked, including access, viewing activity, viewer progress, and completion, for purposes of administering the training program and reporting to Wings for Widows and WidowWise LLC.

Privacy and Account Information

Our collection, use, storage, and sharing of personal information, including account registration information, training progress, payment-related information, and website usage data, is described in our Privacy Policy. By using this website or registering for content, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the Privacy Policy.

Suspension and Termination of Access

Wings for Widows and/or WidowWise LLC may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the website, Licensed WidowWise Content, Registered Training Content, user accounts, or related services at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms, misuse of content, security concerns, inappropriate conduct, or any other reason deemed necessary to protect users, the organization, its licensors, or its services.

Fees, One-Time Purchases, CARES Access, and Coaching-Linked Access

Access to certain Registered Training Content through WidowWise University may require payment of a one-time enrollment fee, as posted at the time of registration or purchase. Wings for Widows and WidowWise LLC reserve the right to change enrollment fees at anytime, with such changes applying prospectively to new registrations or purchases. Unless expressly stated at the point of purchase, paid access to WidowWise University courses is a one-time purchase and does not automatically renew.

Enrollment fees are waived under the following circumstances:

(a) CARES Scholarship. Users who apply for and are approved for a CARES Scholarship will receive 30 days of complimentary access to Registered Training Content, beginning on the date access is granted. Approval for a CARES Scholarship is at the sole discretion of Wings for Widows. Access will expire automatically at the end of the 30-dayperiod unless separately renewed or converted to paid enrollment. Coaching clients are not considered CARES Scholarship recipients solely by virtue of receiving coaching-linked access described below.

(b) 1:1 Coaching Access. Users who are actively working with a Wings for Widows volunteer coach on a one-on-one basis are automatically eligible to receive 12 months of complimentary access to Registered Training Content, beginning on the date access is granted. This 12-month access is provided as a coaching-client benefit and is separate from the CARES Scholarship. Continued complimentary access under this provision is contingent on the user’s active participation in coaching; Wings for Widows reserves the right to review and adjust access in the event coaching is discontinued.

All fees, where applicable, are processed through Stripe, Wings for Widows’ designated third-party payment processor, or any successor payment provider designated by Wings for Widows. Payment information may be collected and processed by Stripe or other third-party payment processors or platform providers. Wings for Widows and WidowWise LLC are not responsible for any payment processor’s separate terms, privacy practices, or security practices. Except where required by law, enrollment fees are non-refundable once access to Registered Training Content has been granted, including in cases where a user’s complimentary access period under a C.A.R.E.S. Scholarship or 1:1 Coaching Access later expires and the user elects not to continue with paid enrollment.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This website (excluding linked sites) is controlled and operated by Wings for Widows, which is headquartered in the State of Minnesota, United States of America. It can be accessed from all 50 states, as well as United States territories and other countries around the world. By accessing this website you agree that any action at law or equity arising or in any way relating to this website shall be filed only under the statutes and laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflicts of law principles thereof. You also agree and hereby submit to the exclusive personal jurisdiction and venue of the state courts located in Hennepin County, Minnesota, including the Hennepin County District Court, and, where federal jurisdiction exists, the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota. This choice of law and venue applies to all use of the website, including any Licensed WidowWise Content made available through it, regardless of the location or domicile of WidowWise LLC or any other licensor. Wings for Widows makes no representation that materials on the website are appropriate or available for use in other locations and accessing them from territories where their contents are illegal is prohibited. Those who choose to access this website from other locations do so of their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.

Service Marks

All uses of Wings for Widows’ federally registered and common law trademarks, service marks and trade names, including but not limited to those listed below, must be approved in writing by Wings for Widows. “Widow411,” “WidowWise University,” and other WidowWise LLC marks are used under license by Wings for Widows; any use of these marks must be separately approved in writing by WidowWise LLC. You may provide a hypertext link to the Wings for Widows website on another website, provided that:

(a) the link must be an active, text-only link or approved banner or artwork provided by Wings for Widows (you may NOT use our logo without prior written approval) clearly marked “Wings for Widows”;
