WidowWise University offers one self-paced, online program—Life & Money After Loss: A Guided Program for Newly Widowed Men & Women—and it's the only one like it in existence. It provides structured, grief-informed financial education created exclusively for the widowed population. The program addresses the real-life financial decisions and responsibilities that emerge after loss, helping participants reduce overwhelm, restore a sense of control, and make informed decisions at their own pace.
By offering a private, judgment-free learning environment, the program removes common barriers such as money shame, embarrassment, and emotional overload that often prevent widowed individuals from seeking help. Project CARES, our scholarship initiative, extends this vital support to under-resourced widowed individuals, providing full access to WidowWise University at no cost.
