Soaring Spirits builds community. We create, and maintain, innovative peer-based grief support programs for widowed men and women that serve a worldwide population. Based on the powerful connections created by shared experience, we endeavor to ensure that no one need grieve alone.
We believe in the healing power of social connection. We are a community of widows helping widows rebuild their lives with new tools, strategies, understanding, and hope.
We’re a non-profit organization creating Empowerment by building confidence, community and connections. You will discover an uplifting, heart-centered and positive group of wisters (widowed sisters) who “Love it Forward” by mentoring and encouraging each other. We may have lost the love of our lives, but we haven’t lost our love for life.
TAPS is the national nonprofit organization providing compassionate care and comprehensive resources for all those grieving the death of a military or veteran loved one.
AWP’s mission is to empower widows to heal and rebuild their lives through connection, community, and growth. The American Widow Project recognizes and honors the sacrifices families of our fallen make and believes that no military widow should feel alone in their grief.
Growth Through Grief is a community and resource site, here to provide you with the help needed, not just for kick-starting your healing journey, but providing a guide for growth and creating a new you. Here you can learn from fellow widowers, mental health professionals, faith leaders and growth experts, and take advantage of tools, resources and community events, to help you transcend from loss and sadness to growth and purpose.
The National Widowers’ Organization and their Men’s Grief Network project is led by experts in loss, many of whom are widowers, and others who have grieved significant deaths. They offer free resources including articles, blogs, books, podcasts, webinars, and more to help men during this very difficult time and beyond.
Widowers Support Network (WSN) is a worldwide ministry dedicated to healing hearts and saving lives of those men who have lost their spouse or a life partner.
