John Teixeira
John is the Director of Financial Planning for PFG Private Wealth Management. In this capacity, John is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive financial planning & investment strategies.
John is a graduate of the University of Bridgewater, Massachusetts, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management. John has been in the financial services industry since 2006.
John’s professional designations include Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®), Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®), and Accredited Estate Planner (AEP®).
John has obtained a passing score for the General Securities Representative (Series 7) exam, Uniform Securities Agent State Law (Series 63) exam, and the Uniform Investment Adviser Law (Series 65) exam.
John is committed to serving the community. John has served as past President of the not-for-profit group (501 (c) (3)), The 13 Ugly Men Foundation, Inc., which hosts large-scale events and donates the proceeds to local charities in the Bay Area. The 13 Ugly Men have donated over $1,500,000 to local charities. John was also a member of the Tampa Connection Class of 2012 and has served as a mentor through the corporate Mentorship program at the University of South Florida Muma College of Business.
Originally from the Boston area, John and his wife, Jenny, live in Lutz, Florida, and enjoy spending time with their two daughters. He enjoys exercise, biking, and teaching his daughters how to play chess.
