I have had a diversified career in accounting, financial analysis, taxes, fraud examination and teaching at the college level. I am a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Financial Planner and a Certified Fraud Examiner. All of my experiences help me assist my clients in identifying their personal needs and wants. Discussions as to the difference is an essential start in developing a financial plan and monthly budgets. While there is nothing wrong with personal wants, it is important to ensure that we create a plan to cover your monthly needs. Identifying your expenses and the related monthly expenses may sound like a challenge, and it is a challenge, but you will receive the support you need to develop your budget. During our sessions, we will discuss future life goals, fraud identification and prevention, and financial planning. I know the everyone learns differently and as a retired college professor, I take pride in teaching many students finance and accounting skills. My goal for each of you is to ensure you have a working budget and a plan to guide you. I recognize that many of you have suffered a loss in your lives. Each of us deal differently with loss and healing from that loss takes one on different paths with different time lines. I respect the healing journey and know that not every day will be a good day. We will work around your needs. I personally have suffered a loss. My husband died suddenly and unexpectedly. People would tell me, it gets better. I was horrified that better without my spouse was thought of as a reassuring statement! Life does change and it does become different. We are all survivors and our loved ones would want us to keep on living. I am here to help you create your budget and financial plan so that you can focus on your goals. While these are uncertain times, may you experience some sweet memories and a smile each day.
