I lost my father a few years ago. In the midst of grief, my mother suddenly faced financial decisions she was unprepared for. She felt overwhelmed, lost, and alone. That experience opened my eyes to how many women face the same struggles after losing a spouse, often without guidance or support.
In my professional work, I’ve helped clients through everything from estate administration to tax complexities. But what I find most fulfilling is being a calm and trusted presence during life’s hardest transitions someone who listens, explains, and walks alongside others with empathy.
Volunteering with Wings for Widows gives me the opportunity to give back in a way that’s meaningful and personal. I know what it’s like to watch someone you love struggle after loss, and I want to be there for others in that same moment, offering clarity, comfort, and hope for the path ahead.
