Why CEO Connect?

A new widow is created every 30 seconds in the United States; a widower about every two minutes. Death creates a massive demand for assistance, guidance, support, and services for more than one million men and women every year. No organization can meet the overwhelming need for support, so we must think - act! - bigger.

When a wide range of voices come together, our community grows stronger. At Wings for Widows, we believe tearing down walls and building bridges between our organizations creates a stronger, more connected support network for those navigating the journey of widowhood. They need us all - secular or not - so let's finally come together to talk about what we do, where we're going, and how we can help one another get there. Our journey together begins with a first step.

What Can I Expect?

This 90-minute virtual session will provide an opportunity for organizational leaders to:

• Introduce your organization (each participant will have about 5 minutes to share their mission, services, and impact)
• Connect with peers who understand the unique challenges of serving the widowed community
• Identify areas for potential collaboration
• Learn about upcoming initiatives that you want to get involved with
