What you can expect:
During your initial four hours of pro bono (no-cost) meetings, your advisor will focus on understanding your situation and helping you navigate important financial decisions. There is no selling of products or services during this period. Your coach will help you address your biggest concerns and provide advice and suggestions covering the most important topics during safe, virtual meetings. After completing the pro bono engagement, you and your coach can discuss options for moving forward—whether that means continuing with pro bono assistance, transitioning to professional services, or concluding the engagement. The choice is yours, with no pressure or obligation whatsoever.
Everyone deserves access to professional financial guidance during this challenging transition. And that's precisely what you receive when working with Wings for Widows. Our volunteer coaches provide their services with complete confidentiality and adhere to the CFP® Board's strict ethical standards. You couldn't be in better hands!

I didn’t know what to expect from this. I was hoping for someone to teach me how to handle our money but preparing for the worst. I was ready to have some guy tell me to invest money I don’t have into things I don’t understand and then tell me to stop shopping, and that is NOT what I got. My coach was extremely empathetic, kind, and thankfully understanding… He taught me how to make a budget and gave me a general understanding of where my money is going/can go and how to keep it safe. I’m so thankful to have had such an amazing person coach me through the least amazing part of my life.
